Paul I. Demby, MD

Dr. Paul Demby, MD, helps patients with acute, chronic, neuropathic, and musculoskeletal pain, particularly those seeking alternatives to surgery or continued relief after unsuccessful treatment or surgery. His approach combines a surgeon’s understanding of anatomy and biomechanics with the precision of interventional pain management. He uses individualized treatment plans that may include fluoroscopic- and ultrasound-guided procedures, neuromodulation, regenerative medicine, and minimally invasive spine interventions. His priority is to listen closely, explain options clearly, and help patients improve function, safety, and long-term quality of life.

Dr. Paul Isaac Demby is board‑certified in Orthopedic Surgery (Israel) and board‑eligible in Interventional Pain Medicine (USA).

Dr. Demby earned his undergraduate degree in anthropology from the University of Florida and his medical degree from Poznan University of Medical Sciences. After completing orthopedic surgery residency through the Scientific Council of the Israeli Medical Association, he practiced as an attending orthopedic surgeon for three years and performed more than 3,000 procedures involving trauma, sports injuries, hand and foot conditions, shoulder care, spine surgery, and robotic joint replacement. He later completed an ACGME-accredited Interventional Pain Medicine fellowship at Boston Medical Center and Boston University.

Dr. Demby’s research and professional interests include regenerative orthobiologics, neuromodulation, biologic therapies, minimally invasive spine procedures, musculoskeletal ultrasound, and orthopedic biomechanics in pain management. He co-founded Regenerative Orthobiologics of Israel, where he developed individualized PRP/PRF, Orthokine, and prolotherapy protocols for complex musculoskeletal conditions. He has presented on regenerative medicine, musculoskeletal ultrasound, and multidisciplinary approaches to chronic pain.

Born in Rhode Island and raised in South Florida, Dr. Demby is proud to be part of the Tampa community. Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with family, fishing, golf, pickleball, cooking, strength training, exploring Tampa’s food scene, traveling to unconventional destinations, and growing exceptionally hot peppers.
