Dr. Smith has given me the best care possible after breaking my femur in a fall. Surgery was quick and repaired the break but recovery was slow at 77. Dr. Smith encouraged and cared for me through it all. No other surgeon could have better cared for me.. Thank you so much, Dr. Smith. You are the best.

He received his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN. He then completed his Orthopaedic training at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, AL, followed by his fellowship training back in Memphis at the Campbell Clinic. Dr. Smith currently serves as a team Orthopaedic physician for the Tampa Bay Rays. He has previously been a team physician for the National Basketball Association’s Memphis Grizzlies, University of Memphis, World Wrestling Entertainment, the NBA G-League’s Memphis Hustle, and the Alliance of American Football’s Memphis Express.
