Patrick Smith, M.D. is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and is fellowship trained in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine. He has a special interest in arthroscopic knee and shoulder surgery, knee and shoulder reconstruction, shoulder replacement surgery, and treating athletes and patients of all ages. He received his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN. He then completed his Orthopaedic training at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, AL, followed by his fellowship training back in Memphis at the Campbell Clinic. Dr. Smith currently serves as a team Orthopaedic physician for the Tampa Bay Rays. He has previously been a team physician for the National Basketball Association’s Memphis Grizzlies, University of Memphis, World Wrestling Entertainment, the NBA G-League’s Memphis Hustle, and the Alliance of American Football’s Memphis Express.
