Dr. Patrick Noud’s philosophy of caring for people involves creating an understanding of the problem so that together they can determine what the best course of action is. In most instances, there is more than a single way to manage a problem. Dr. Noud prides himself in customizing solutions that best meet the expectation of each patient depending on his/her disability, activity and comfort level. He believes that this approach leads to a closer relationship between himself and his patients and a higher level of satisfaction with this shared decision making.
Dr. Noud is extensively involved both at the local and national level with the education and training of future Orthopedic physicians. Additionally, he teaches and lectures in several annual state of the art comprehensive shoulder courses where he continues to refine and develop successful methods to manage complex shoulder problems.

I believe I still hold the record of Youngest Patient Dr. Noud ever did a Total Shoulder Replacement on, which he did back in 2013. 13 years, 3 surgeries and 4 states later, I specifically asked if he still practiced. His professionalism gave me confidence, his compassion gave me hope that I'd be OK, and his results have been the foundation on which these other surgeons have built upon. Best part, he never pressured me to get anything done. Today we agreed to hold off on another surgery for as long as I can. Yes, a surgeon who is more concerned for his patients than his bank account. They are few and far between, but Dr. Noud definitely can claim to be one.

It was my first time seeing Dr Noud with a broken humerus. He was as polite, professional and pleasant as humanly possible. He did a shoulder replacement for my husband 3 years ago and that turned out GREAT also!
