I have had Dr McDaid as my surgeon for over 3 years now. His professionalism has no rival. He has shown my best interest at every turn and displayed a truly remarkable compassion that goes beyond just being a Dr. I was Going through a personal mental health issue in year 2 of his care due to constant pain, My circumstance of being injured and out of work etc, And he personally reached out to me after hours from his personal phone to check on me, and followed up consistently each visit to touch base on my actual wellbeing beyond my injury. I have had a lot of bad luck with my injury being stubborn and at each turn he has made me feel reassured that even though we may not of gotten the ideal results, he understands my concern of living with pain the rest of my life and he is trying to ensure that I have the least possible. Regardless of circumstances that put me in his care, I will always appreciate what he has done for me. I can not praise him enough, my gratitude is endless.

I went to Dr. McDade due to constant pain in my thumb joint. He diagnosed it as arthritis and said he could remove the bone and do a tendon transfer. I had the surgery and everything went perfect. I experience no pain after surgery and my incision healed perfectly. I had to be consistent in going to therapy and doing the exercises at home but it paid off in the end. I no longer have pain in my joint and am considering having the surgery on my other hand in the future.
