Dr. Patrick Jones is a board certified fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine. He earned his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. He later completed a fellowship in sports medicine and shoulder reconstruction at the renowned Steadman-Hawkins Clinic of the Carolinas.
Dr. Jones’ interest lies in arthroscopic surgery of the knee, elbow, and shoulder, with a special interest in shoulder replacements and cartilage restoration of the knee.Dr. Jones is a veteran who proudly served in the United States Navy. He completed tours in Okinawa, Japan, Jacksonville, FL, and a deployment to Northern Iraq. He has received multiple awards including two Navy marine corps commendations, an Army commendation with combat C, and a joint service commendation.
During his career Dr. Jones has provided medical care for the Clemson Tigers, the Colorado Rockies, the United States Naval Academy, and many of America’s elite warriors.In his free time Dr. Jones enjoys playing golf, scuba diving and spending time with his wife and two boys.

He takes the time to listen and explain things to patient and he’s an EXCELLENT SURGEON. I couldn’t have found a better shoulder surgeon anywhere else. I’m a 78 year old senior citizen but my eyes 👀 still see…. HE IS HANDSOME TOO🧓🏽

Dr jones was a great Doctor he explains everything to where I could understand my options I would recommend him to others
Dr. was fine. The individual typing the instructions was not so helpful. Checkout individual was confused whether it was her fault or the individual typing the following up instructions. I still have an injection appointment 3 weeks after the evaluation, and I've been waiting for a return call from Samantha for 24 hours after she emailed me. 48 hours after my appointment, I do not have an RX called in to my pharmacy.

Very pleased with my visit with Dr. Jones. He was very professional, understood exactly what was happening from the MRI report and helped me to understand it better. Made a plan for surgery that’s already been scheduled. Very pleased with the visit.
Methodical in procedure, but lacked eye contact and did not come across as personable. Seemed focus on gathering just enough information to reach a conclusion without actually understanding the reason for my visit or what I hoped to accomplish.
Very nice and knowledgeable.
