Dr. Pat Colerick began his career in Lincoln, Nebraska, where he had a private optometry practice for 14 years. After selling his practice, he and his family moved to San Luis Obispo, California, where he joined a Refractive Surgery practice and enjoyed the central coast of California. Following that Dr. Colerick was recruited to join a large Refractive Surgery practice in Dallas, Texas, where he practiced for ten years.
He is board certified in the Treatment and management of ocular disease and served as a sub-investigator for the FDA for the development of new devices, new drugs and their applications.
Dr. Colerick is extensively trained in preoperative and postoperative management of cataract and refractive surgery patients. He has broad experience in all of the current premium Refractive intraocular implants for cataract surgery. He also performs comprehensive eye examinations for the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease including corneal disorders, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.
Dr. Pat Colerick is married and has 3 adult children. He is a sports enthusiast who follows high school, collegiate, and professional sports. He also is very active in outdoor activities including golf and hiking. Other interests include all aspects of the wine industry. He currently is a certified sommelier.
