Dr. Patrick Curtin, MD

Dr. Patrick Curtin, M.D., is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in hand and upper extremity surgery. He provides comprehensive care for conditions affecting the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder, utilizing advanced surgical and non-surgical techniques to relieve pain, restore mobility, and improve functional outcomes for his patients.

Dr. Curtin earned his Bachelor of Science in biology with a minor in religion from Emory University before receiving his Medical Degree from the Boston University School of Medicine. He completed his post-graduate clinical training with an orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Massachusetts. Dr. Curtin further expanded his surgical capabilities by completing an advanced subspecialty fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at the Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center at Thomas Jefferson University.

In his clinical practice, Dr. Curtin manages a full spectrum of conditions involving the hand and upper extremity. His areas of expertise include hand and wrist arthritis, wrist and small joint arthroscopy, complex nerve reconstruction, Dupuytren's disease, tendon and nerve repair, upper extremity fractures, and general orthopedic trauma.

Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Curtin is an accomplished marathon runner, having completed the Boston, London, Chicago, and Berlin marathons. An avid musician and water polo player, he also enjoys watching every season of Survivor.
