Abrasive and loud with no empathy. Poor listening skills.

So positive and kind! She gave me a lot of reassurance and really explained what she did during surgery. Very professional pre and post op, made my first surgery experience amazing (no more fear of surgery!!)
Dr Melvin was compassionate and very helpful. She took the time to explain things and was very professional.
No small talk which I like. Answered my questions and was open to more. I have answers to the questions I came with! Thank you
Awesome Dr.
Outstanding doctor in her field. I would not be this far without her. Thank you. Soon this will all be a memory for me with recovery.
great personality and did not feel rushed
Melvin was horribly and dangerously wrong when I went to CORE. Shortly after my visit, my cultures came back negative, even though Melvin told me it “grossly infected”. Without understanding (or reviewing) my FULL medical history, and without any understanding of my situation, this “surgeon” recklessly advised me to have an amputation, which terrified me - until I had other surgeons, wound care team and infectious disease review this assessment from CORE - and they all independently described Melvin’s diagnosis are absolutely unreliable, wrong, reckless and irresponsible. Please let Melvin know she damaged me and my hopes of recovering. Thank God I was aware enough (I am a former Stryker and Wright medical trauma rep) to have other medical professionals review Melvin’s“diagnosis”. Please understand this is serious, as if I had listened to her, I’d be scheduling an amputation, instead, gratefully, Melvin was completely and shockingly inaccurate. I can be reached at 480.216.2965
Very knowledgeable and friendly. I felt very comfortable with her.
