Paoula Gueorguieva, MD, JFACOG, a skilled and experienced Obstetrician-Gynecologist and surgeon, joins our Park Ridge team in October! Dr. Gueorguieva will deliver babies and perform surgery at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge and Ascension Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago. After completing her Bachelor of Science at Emory University and Master of Science at McGill University, Dr. Gueorguieva attended Chicago Medical School Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. She conducted her residency at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital where she was selected to serve as Clinical Chief. She is also a certified da Vinci Robotic Surgeon.
Throughout her medical career, Dr. Gueorguieva has been active in teaching and research. She has numerous publications in academic journals and has presented her research most recently at the American Society of Reproductive Medicine.
I couldn’t be happier to be able to be a new patient. Dr G spent quite a bit of time with me explaining everything throughly. Very nice office space and surroundings

Great surgeon and Carrying doctor
I’m currently on a rotation of doctors within the clinic, and so far Paoula has been the best. She is very nice and understanding and I don’t feel awkward to voice myself. She is a lot more than tentative than most doctors I have met.
Solved all of my issues spent time with me and very knowledgeable of all of my issue’s.
Very professional. Provides detailed explanation and takes her time to answer questions. I would highly recommend her to others.
Informative and very nice
Dr. Gueorguieva is highly knowledgeable and trustworthy, I felt confident in her medical expertise and the care she provided. At times her communication style feels a bit formal and reserved, a more friendly approach-such as smiling more- would make the experience even better. But overall I trust her judgment, I will definitely be her patient for now on
