Dr. Grimaldi is board certified in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine/Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT), a hands-on approach that supports healing, reduces pain, and improves overall function through enhanced posture and circulation. Before relocating to Sterling, she served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, where she taught residents and medical students while providing full-spectrum family medicine. She has lectured nationally and serves on the teaching board for CO*RE, a multispecialty group that provides training in risk management and mitigation for long-acting opiates.
Her commitment to service extends beyond traditional practice settings. She spent time in the Arctic region of Alaska caring for the native Inuit population and has participated in medical mission work in Guatemala and Mexico. Dr. Grimaldi is the immediate past president of the Massachusetts Osteopathic Society and is active within the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), serving as a Massachusetts delegate for the past five years. She is currently completing a one-year Health Care Policy fellowship sponsored by the AOA.
Dr. Grimaldi graduated magna cum laude from Quinnipiac College (now Quinnipiac University) and earned her medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Maine. She completed a dually accredited family practice residency at Wilson Memorial Regional Hospital in New York. She is board certified in Family Medicine through both the American Board of Family Medicine and the Osteopathic Board of Family Medicine, and is also board certified in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine/OMT. She lives in Rutland, Massachusetts with her family.
