Dr. Philip Ryan Camilon, M.D., graduated Magna Cum Laude from Boston University with a dual major in Medical Sciences and Psychology. He was part of the 7-year Accelerated Medical Program and continued into Boston University Medical School. He then completed a Clinical Research Fellowship with the Department of Otolaryngology at the Medical University of South Carolina, and then returned to Boston for residency at Boston Medical Center. During residency, he rotated at Boston Children's Hospital, which sparked his interest in Pediatric Otolaryngology.
After his residency, he pursued a Fellowship in Pediatric Otolaryngology at Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City, where he developed skills in ear surgery, cleft palate repair, voice improvement, and airway reconstruction. For the next three years, he was on staff at the Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) and was a Clinical Professor of Otolaryngology at the University of California, Irvine.
He has moved back to the North Shore, where his wife grew up, to be closer to her family and is excited to bring his expertise to North Shore ENT.
He is board-certified in both General Otolaryngology and Complex Pediatric Otolaryngology.
