He is an excellent doctor—very kind, gentle with children, and highly respectful. He also explains medical situations in a very understandable way, and it is clear that he knows what he is doing. We are deeply grateful to Dr. Camilo and his entire team for listening to us and for caring for our son.

Dr Camilon is the best of the best! Bringing in my 9 month old (now 11 months) for conversations about tubes, and then actually bringing her in for the surgery was so much less stressful thanks to Dr Camilon. He answers every question diligently and is always (somehow??) available when we need him.

Very personable, knowledgeable, and very patient education focused. My daughter had her tonsillectomy and adnoidectomy with Dr. Camilon and he did a great job making us all feel informed and comfortable with the entire process from start to finish.

Dr. Philip Ryan Camilon, M.D., graduated Magna Cum Laude from Boston University with a dual major in Medical Sciences and Psychology. He was part of the 7-year Accelerated Medical Program and continued into Boston University Medical School. He then completed a Clinical Research Fellowship with the Department of Otolaryngology at the Medical University of South Carolina, and then returned to Boston for residency at Boston Medical Center. During residency, he rotated at Boston Children's Hospital, which sparked his interest in Pediatric Otolaryngology.
After his residency, he pursued a Fellowship in Pediatric Otolaryngology at Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City, where he developed skills in ear surgery, cleft palate repair, voice improvement, and airway reconstruction. For the next three years, he was on staff at the Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) and was a Clinical Professor of Otolaryngology at the University of California, Irvine.
He has moved back to the North Shore, where his wife grew up, to be closer to her family and is excited to bring his expertise to North Shore ENT.
He is board-certified in both General Otolaryngology and Complex Pediatric Otolaryngology.
