Dr. P. Gordon McLemore, M.D., has dedicated himself to improving women’s health. He strives to meet the needs of his patients during every stage of their lives in a personal and compassionate manner. Having lived and traveled around the world and the United States, he is able to work empathically and communicate effectively with women from all cultural and ethnic backgrounds. He speaks fluent Spanish and conversational Japanese. He received his medical degree from Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia, where he was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society for providing exceptional patient care. He completed his training in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Hawaii, where he was recognized for his leadership and excellence in teaching.
While in private practice in Las Vegas, Dr. McLemore is dedicated to promoting vaginal births and was recognized in 2018 by HPN insurance company as the provider with the lowest c-section rate in the city. Additionally, he serves as a faculty member, teaching physicians in training the art and specialty of obstetrics and gynecology at Mountain View Hospital. He dedicates his gynecological practice to providing minimally invasive surgery options.
He is the father of three energetic boys and an avid baseball and soccer fan. He also enjoys running, reading, and eating all types of food in his spare time. As your physician, he will work with you hand-in- hand to ensure you are well-informed about your health care options and that you receive the best care possible.
DR. McLemore is one of the best doctors that I have ever gone to i 100% recommend him to anybody he makes you feel safe and he lets you know everything in a calm tone where you don't feel anxious or have anxiety
The doctor was very nice, however, it was kind of a waste of time. When I called to ask what my appointment was for? They said it was to go over my anatomy scan results, which I had done with MFM and a routine 20-week check-up. I waited almost an hour to finally be seen. He did a Doppler for 10 seconds and said the baby was good. I asked him about my anatomy scan results, and he asked me if the MFM doctor had gone over it. I said yes, she said everything looked good, and he said, “ OK, then you’re good.” I just don’t see why I had to come in to be told what I was told yesterday at MFM if he wasn’t going to go over the results. I saw Dr. Romero the first two times, and he was way more thorough, he would actually open up my chart and go through it. This doctor didn’t even touch the computer.
I love that he can be imformative, professional and make you laugh all in one visit. It’s refreshing to have great interactions with your dr and not be stressed 24/7.
I love him. He is always amazing . He checks in on me mentally and he cares. My apps are just more than a check up. And he loves my babies everytime they come he gives them time and talk and mess with them. (: he did bring both into the world.
I am in love with this dr. He listens to everything I had to say. He gave me straight answers, and seems that he genuinely care.
Although this is my first time meeting him, he was very kind and he listened to my concern and for that I am grateful thank you❤️ Dr. McLemore!
Dr McLemore is hands down the best! He listens to you and genuinely cares. His nurse is the best too!
This annual visit is already a necessary, uncomfortable appointment. I waited, undressed in the appointment room for 40 minutes. I then got dressed and came out. He was on his laptop. He did not acknowledge me or apologize.
Great doctor and took his time to explain everything to me!
Dr. McLemore is awesome! He takes time with you and is very comforting and easy to talk to.
