Dr. Akinnusi is an experienced Psychiatrist, who is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in both Adult and Child Psychiatry. After graduating from medical school at Olabisi Onabanjo University in Nigeria, she returned to England, United Kingdom where she was born. She trained while there at the Guys, Kings and Thomas Psychiatry Training Program before moving to the United states in 2002. She completed her General Psychiatry residency and Child Psychiatry Fellowship at the University at Buffalo, New York. She is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the Clinical TMS Society. Dr. Akinnusi has extensive experience in treating a wide variety of Psychiatric disorders in both Adults and Children. She utilizes a comprehensive approach including pharmacotherapy and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation. Dr. Akinnusi is a devoted Christian and is married with a son. She enjoys traveling and reading.
