After graduating from medical school at Olabisi Onabanjo University in Nigeria, she returned to England, United Kingdom where she was born. She trained while there at the Guys, Kings and Thomas Psychiatry Training Program before moving to the United states in 2002. She completed her General Psychiatry residency and Child Psychiatry Fellowship at the University at Buffalo, New York. She is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the Clinical TMS Society.
