The office opened 5 minutes late while I had to wait in a cold / rainy morning. I had to wait in the exam room for 30 minutes while the staff was enjoying Chick-fil-A. Not a good experience.

I interacted with this guy for less than 5 minutes so I don’t really know how to comment on my interaction. He seemed nice though I kind of just felt like a number (but that’s not his fault—that’s because our medical system is broken and doctors are forced to power through patients for corporate gain). I do remember being shaken a bit roughly as I was waking up so he could update me, which wasn’t great but I also don’t know if they had been trying to wake me up for a while. Overall he was fine. I don’t know what else to say.

Dr. Khalid is very friendly, but I encountered him briefly before going under. So this review is really for the nurses, anesthesiologist m, and all those who did pre- and post-care. They were excellent!

Five stars is not enough

I was unconscious for most of the visit with doctor Khalid but we chatted some before the procedure and he seemed like a very personable man. He kept things light which was nice.

Today was my first visit with Dr. Khalid and I was so very grateful for his kindness and willingness to listen to my issues. I’m very satisfied with the level of care I received today.

Amazing group of people. From the receptionists to the nurses and anesthesiologists and Dr Khalid( of course!!), they are an outstanding team. They are great at explaining conditions and procedures AND easing your anxiety. I love that this is an all in one group from the Doctor office to the procedure center. No separate large hospital. This really saves on the bill too. I’ve recommended the practice to several others because I’m so confident with the care I’ve received here.

Everyone at Gastrointestinal Specialists was wonderful. The wonderful black woman whom checked me in and let my 83 year old Mom stay in the waiting room while I had my procedure done. All the nurses in back that get you ready fir your procedure where wonderful. Dr. Omer Khalid is just Amazing and kind and just all around a superb Doctor and Man.

I’ve never had a physician who seemed more interested in his or her patients. He explains everything and tries his very best to set you at ease, make you laugh, and assure you that he’s listening to you. He makes you feel heard, and he makes you feel like he genuinely cares about you.
