Was not very attentive her self and the Xray Tech both seemed as though my appointment was an inconvenience to them. Dr. Hinkle did not take the time to explain thing nor did she seem at all interested in hearing me out to explain my situation or areas of concern nor did she take the time to properly look at the problem area which was my knee, as she had me roll my pant leg up however, due to the swelling, it did not allow my pant leg to go up high enough to see my knee. Even then she quickly stated dismissed the issues and hurried me out. I did not expect my issues to be solved in one visit and more so hoped for a solid plan of action, but I never expected to be treated so dismissively and left feeling as though a 2nd opinion at an entirely different facility is necessary.

Second time in for this problem. Thought we had it the first time but the cortisone shot was not very effective. New plan discussed and will be applying a new technique to an old problem.

Dr. Nina Patel-Hinkle is a board-certified physician in Family Medicine specializing in Sports Medicine, non-surgical Orthopedics. She is fellowship-trained in Primary Care Sports Medicine.
Dr. Patel-Hinkle received her Primary Care Sports Medicine fellowship training from the University of Florida: Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship program. She completed her residency and internship in Family Practice Program and received her medical degree from Midwestern University- Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Prior to joining The CORE Institute, Dr. Patel-Hinkle served nine years in the United States Navy and attained the rank of Lieutenant Commander. During her active duty time, she worked at several Naval medical facilities, providing care for members of the military and their families both at home and overseas. Dr. Patel-Hinkle served as the Head of the Department of Sports Medicine at the Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune in North Carolina, where she provided musculoskeletal injury evaluations and treatments to service members and taught family medicine residents during their sports medicine rotations. Most recently, she provided treatment to service members and wounded warriors at the Marine Sailor Concussion Recovery Center at Camp Lejeune.
Dr. Patel-Hinkle is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American Academy of Family Physicians, American College of Sports Medicine, and American Medical Society for Sports Medicine.
