Dr Dehghan is awesome. She is very smart and straight to the point. She is also very assertive which is great since it shows she is confident in her work and what she does.

Came to my room over an hour and 15 minutes past my appointment without so much as an acknowledgment or apology for keeping me waiting. Was completely unprepared for my appointment and had no clue why I was being seen, awareness of my injury, etc despite this appointment being scheduled in advance, having done bloodwork specifically for this appointment, and being internally referred by another provider for ongoing issues post surgery (also done by a core surgeon). She even referenced doing my surgery when she was not my surgeon. My entire history related to this injury is with the Core Institute, it’s absolutely unacceptable for a provider to not review a patients chart prior to entering their room. She had the audacity to state that she took time away from her three children to be there…which sounds like a her problem that has no place being mentioned to me, the patient that took time away from my family and work to be seen and was left waiting. I’d love a call from management

I waited an hour and a half to see this doctor and she gave no apologies. Staff didn't inform me of her running behind at all. She barely spent 5 minutes with me and didn't even show me my xrays.

The ability to reach her after the surgery was very poor!! Communication was less than desirable. Her P.A., James was inadequate! He misdiagnosed me. and was very unhelpful about my concerns.

She was polite and friendly but I felt my issue was invalidated and she was dismissive about the level of pain I'm having. She was only in the room for maybe 5 minutes and did ask me any questions at all other than examining my elbow and asking if that hurt.

Only fixed what was needed, fast recovery, pleasent. Way better than expected.

She did a good job on my surgery. I first met her 5 minutes before my surgery and her bedside manner was not great. She and surgery staff were arguing about nerve block in front of me and made me nervous. But she got the job done well. That's what counts. Much nicer at follow up visit. Maybe not so nervous.

Amazing surgeon! Zero pain 6 weeks after anatomical shoulder replacement

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Dehghan. My surgery went better than expected. I hope to never need another procedure but if I do I wouldn't hesitate to see her again.

She is always very concerned about her patients.

Ms. Dehghan had an attitude as soon as she came into the room (One hr and 20 min late). She described my shoulder as having a “tiny” tear, despite having a full thickness/complete tear of my supraspinatus tendon. She said she couldn’t understand why I had trouble raising my elbow to the side since I could raise my arm out in front of me. These are two completely different motions using different parts of the arm, do I need to tell a surgeon that? She didn’t bother showing me the MRI, didn’t answer any of the questions I wrote on the initial appointment form, she was so rushed she gave me no benifits for or against surgery. Lastly, she pawned me off on another surgeon who doesn’t even take my insurance. What a pathetic encounter, and what a horrible way to treat patients.

I had a follow up appt with Dr Dehghan today where she spent some extra time with me to answer multiple questions and concerns I had. She gave me advice on what I can do to help my body to heal.

I was told that I was lucky that Dr. Dehghan was available to repair my broken leg in an emergency surgery. That person was correct Dr. Dehghan is very good surgeon and I have learned she is one of very few doctors who could have repaired my leg due to my bones splintering apart as it broke.

After waiting weeks I was excited to hear about next steps on my recovery journey. I waited over 2 hours to be seen and felt rushed when she finally came in to talk to me, which lasted less that 5 minutes.

I'm a big tough looking guy with an embarrassing disability, and while it's hard not to mock someone like me, a health care provider has an obligation to treat all patients with respect. Mocking a disability is particularly uncool.

felt very dismissed. I have an injury that isn't surgical so I felt very dismissed on my pain and mobility because it wasn't a surgical injury. It was about a 30 second visit, she didn't go over any kind of restrictions or options just told me I was fine and to keep moving my arm.

I was in a wreck on my Vespa and broke my tibia below the knee. I was sent to Dr. Dehghan so she could assess whether or not I would need surgery. She asked me what happened so I told her I was in a motorcycle accident. I said “motorcycle accident” sounds cooler than “scooter accident,” so if any hot chicks ask her what happened to me I’d prefer that she opted for describing it as the former. She then took the brace off my leg, poked my knee a couple times and essentially told me I was a wuss. She said that I didn’t need surgery,

Dr. Dehghan was very nice. She understood my shoulder problem and scheduled surgery very quickly.

I felt very rushed while in my appointment. I came 30 minutes early from 33 miles away across town for this appointment and the doctor did not ask me if I was in any pain. I'm hoping the pain doesn't worse after healing.

Doctor was nice! And very friendly and helpful.. we came before 1 for an appt at 1:30! We got called back at about 2:00 then got x-rays. Then went yo another on and wait for them to call us to get a smaller brace but none for my clients size.. vented about being here over 3 then we called to the room for them to just adjust brace same as doctor did. It is 3:55 and finally walking out the door! If you come bring food, snacks and a movie it’s like visiting the E.R

Dr. Dehghan's bedside manner was not what we expected to receive from CORE. She seemed to be in a rush to move to the next patient. We received no information on my mother's condition other than to say "Xrays look good". My mother has 2 to 3 fractures and in a lot of pain. She basically sent my mother home saying to go back in 4 weeks or not at all if she feels better. This is completely unacceptable from a physician that should be providing excellent care.

Since the first day we meet her after my daughter injury, she has been caring, compassionate and takes her time to make sure you feel you are taken care of.

She was helpful and nice but kept looking at me after she asked if I was an alcoholic and I told her I didn't drink. Like I was lying to her, she just stared at me . Made me uncomfortable

She seemed very distracted,she just hurried me along. I felt like she really wasn't listening

It was an extremely long wait to see the doctor for a few minutes. She was nice enough, but we didn't feel we got a lot of valuable information from the visit. It made us wonder if the doctors at CORE have a quota of people that they have to fit into an hour. She's probably extremely knowledgeable and talented, but we didn't feel that she had much time to spend with each patient. So, it didn't seem like we really got much benefit from her expertise.

She told my dad he needed surgery while another doctor didn't want to operate on him and suggested physical therapy to fix the problem. She's a great doctor. She cares about her patients.

My appointment was at 10:20 and I did not see her until after 12:45.....Not happy but she was good.

She was nice but I feel like inhave less answers than I did before. And I felt like an inconvenience. It was a waste of an appointment for me. I had to cancel important appointments, drive an hour out of the way. To be forced to walk a long distance, 38 weeks pregnant with spd and a hurt knee just to be told basically nothing is wrong. And come back 3 weeks if I'm still in pain at 3 weeks postpartum?

Glad that she was able to get us in so fast after we found out we should see her again rather than Dr. Chiang. We also liked the doctor that is assisting her, Dr. Castenada. It would be great if he would introduce himself and what he is doing before asking lots of questions when we expecting to see Dr. Deghgan. We are grateful that Dr. Deghgan is willing to take on this complicated case.

Dr. Dehghan took over my case after Covid delayed my surgery for quite a long time. There was more damage than originally thought, but Dr. Dehghan did a great job and followed through with care after the procedure.

Dr. Dehghan was great. She was very thorough and explained my options thoroughly. She also advised me that at this point I was a good candidate for reversable shoulder replacement. This was most welcome because I've been to a number of others who really did little or nothing to help me.

I did not like they way the Dr. just dismissed my ailments as " to be expected for older people". Dr. did not seem to care about repairing any damaged tissue, bone spurs, or cyst. I got the feeling that old was not good. Dr only reviewed MRI minutes before we met.
