It’s scary finding out you have a serious injury needing surgery,especially when you dealing with a new doctor. Dr.Patel is not only and amazing surgeon with great bedside manor,he also showed me his compassion for his patients to get the care they need is top on his list,and he will go to bat for you if need.I highly recommend him,and am beyond thankful!!!!

Nilesh has developed a great reputation in the community. As a matter of fact when I went for my MRI at JFK, the young receptionist told me that he worked on her father and he did amazing job and her father has no problem for last 8 years. He took time to explain all possible options and patiently answered all my sons & daughters questions who was on the phone.

Doctor suggestion were good. But he is always in hurry and keeping time in mind. So not able to communicate our concerns comfortably. He can listen to patients little better.

One of the best doctors!!! He explains everything very well, and doesn’t let his patients worry unnecessarily. I was so scared after getting fractured leg and broken ankle ligaments, but once we met Dr. Patel, he explained the best treatment options. He performed my ankle stabilization surgery, and explained the healing process so well. I’m so grateful that we found such an incredible patient focused doctor!!!

Post op a week and 3 days, went to see my orthopedic dr.Ryan but had to see dr.Patel due to my dr being out. After speaking with a really nice young lady who assisted me to the room I waited an hr for dr.Patel to show. After he comes in he pulls around my leg tells me there’s nothing he can do because he’s not my dr and walks out moments later another kind young lady comes in takes out my stitches and on my way I went. He totally disregarded any questions I had regarding my symptoms from post op, no follow instructions for after care/home care. Told me to come back and sent me home with just a script for pt. Definitely will refuse any further appointments with this dr. Very uncomfortable, lack of information, terrible job.

I felt the exam was rushed. He walked in, looked at my X-rays, then walked out for 40 minutes to probably attend to another patient, then returned. He was courteous and professional but for the wait, I thought I would receive more time and attention. Disappointed.

Dr. Patel is thorough. He is patient, and listens to your concerns. I’ve had knee injections by other Doctors which were extremely painful, but with Doctor Patel pain is minimal. The office support staff are friendly and courteous. I Would definitely recommend Dr. Patel .

Dr. Patel is a wonderful doctor. My husband and I have been coming to this office since 2008. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

This was a first visit with Dr. Patel. He was very kind and listened to my description of my ankle discomfort. He offered an MRI to look further into the possibility of a situation. I was able to schedule right downstairs in the same building which was helpful. I will return to him following MRI to rule out any possible ankle trauma.

Great Doctor! Explains each and every element of injury and medications associated with in detail. My wife had an ankle injury and had to undergo surgery. During the first visit, Dr Patel gave the timelines of 8-10 weeks. By the 11th week she was like ~95% back on her feet and she was back to normal. He is a great doctor, soft spoken and a good listener. Moreover the entire staff of EMOG are great and very cooperative.

This dr was very rude and unprofessional. Never introduce himself nor did he ever look at my foot. Look at my X-ray and told me my toe wasn’t broken then look at my notes from the er prior to coming to see him and then told me my toe was broken. Never examined my toe. Gave me a few suggestions and left the room.
