Dr. Chowdhuri completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Louis A. Weiss Memorial Hospital in Chicago followed by sub-specialization in Cardiology at the University of South Alabama, Mobile, Alabama. He then completed a sub-subspecialty fellowship in Cardiac Electrophysiology at the Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Diseases and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.

Dr. Chowdhuri joined Cardiovascular Medicine in September 2024. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Diseases and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology. He is licensed to practice in Iowa and is available for outpatient consultations and follow-up visits at the Davenport location. He has staff privileges at Genesis Medical Centers and UnityPoint Health Trinity.
Dr. Chowdhuri’s professional interests include diagnosis and treatment of complex heart arrhythmias like atrial fibrillation (AFib), supraventricular tachycardias (SVTs) with antiarrhythmic medications as well as different ablation procedures, slow heart rhythms and heart failure with pacemakers and specialized devices like defibrillators (ICD) and resynchronization devices (CRT). He employs newer technology like Conduction System Pacing (CSP) and Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion (LAAO) devices to benefit his patients. He is a member of the Heart Rhythm Society, the American College of Cardiology, American College of Physicians and American Medical Association.
Dr. Chowdhuri enjoys traveling, hiking and reading in his leisure.
