After an er visit with a 10 out of 10 pain level not only did this dr ask the question in a condescending tone ask the question "what do you expect me to do for you" shook his head at me when I told him , he's the dr not me. Then proceeded to call the cops on a sick, scared person. This man is a monster. After I left there I went to another hospital er, where I was treated like a human being. Also where I found out I have an extremely high wbc.

Dr. Burns states, "Rural South Dakotans face challenges that are unique, complicated, and sometimes incredibly hazardous. We face challenges that people in Sioux Falls and Rapid City frequently have no ability to comprehend. In my opinion, these challenges are what make the people and patients of rural South Dakota some the of most hearty in the USA and make the patients some of the best to serve. I have always had a passion for providing healthcare to rural South Dakotans."
