Very Personable, very knowledgeable, and builds confidence. I only had my surgery yesterday so the jury is out on her abilities but I have total confidence they will be very successful.

Very professional at a young age , she has good listening and comforting skills , I was very nervous, the surgery went really well almost pain free at the time of surgery and the first day after witch is today , I’m really surprised with her skills, I do recommend her to anyone looking for excellent and professional eye surgeon

Dr. Topilow completed an internal medicine internship at Mount Sinai West / St. Luke’s Hospital in New York, followed by her ophthalmology residency training at the #1 ranked Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida.
Dr. Topilow also completed a two-year ASOPRS-accredited ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship at the prestigious University of California San Diego, Shiley Eye Institute. She has presented her research at national meetings and has authored textbook chapters and several peer-reviewed publications.
While a native of New York City, Dr. Topilow settled her family in San Diego after falling in love with the area during her fellowship. She enjoys hiking, playing beach volleyball, cooking, and spending time with her husband and their baby girl. Dr. Topilow also speaks Spanish.
