My five year old was very nervous to have his first eye exam. Dr. Storey was very kind and used lots of toys, light up wands and other visual aids to help her go through his exam quickly and efficiently. She asked him about starting school, his favorite color, ect and made an true effort to relate to him. When we left the office, I asked him if the exam was as bad as he thought it was going to be (all new patient's get their eyes dilated so the MD can visualize the back of the eye, and he was most nervous for the drops!). He said is was "Way easy!" and told his grandmother that it was "GREAT!" when we spoke to her that evening. I work with one of the other MDs in this practice in the neonatal intensive care unit, and I cannot rave enough about the experience we had with Dr. Storey and this practice! It was set up in a way that made it easiest for the kids *and* the parents.

Didn't seem like she wanted to be there. Was aggressive when turning my child's head to where she wanted it.
