She completed her residency at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University in Chicago and her rheumatology fellowship at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC.
Dr. Kieffer is a board-certified rheumatologist treating a variety of rheumatic conditions including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, peripheral and axial spondylarthritis, reactive arthritis, inflammatory bowel disease associated arthritis, gout, pseudogout/chondrocalcinosis, systemic lupus erythematosus, connective tissue disease, Sjogren’s syndrome, scleroderma, dermatomyositis, polymyositis, temporal arteritis, polymyalgia rheumatica, vasculitis, and osteoporosis, among others. Dr. Kieffer is committed to continuous learning and staying up to date on the latest advancements in rheumatology to provide the most contemporary care for her patients.

I explained over 7 symptoms to Nicole and she only focused on one. After finding out family history, it was as if that was the only explanation. I questioned another possible disease process which aligns with most of my symptoms and was told its highly unlikely based off of 1 symptom I didn't have. I declined all testing and imaging because I don't want any of my money going towards this place.
Enjoyed working with Dr. Kiefer .. very thorough.. did tests right at office, had follow up plans in place.
First visit, very thorough and listens to any issues I addressed.
