She completed her residency at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University in Chicago and her rheumatology fellowship at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC.
Dr. Kieffer is a board-certified rheumatologist treating a variety of rheumatic conditions including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, peripheral and axial spondylarthritis, reactive arthritis, inflammatory bowel disease associated arthritis, gout, pseudogout/chondrocalcinosis, systemic lupus erythematosus, connective tissue disease, Sjogren’s syndrome, scleroderma, dermatomyositis, polymyositis, temporal arteritis, polymyalgia rheumatica, vasculitis, and osteoporosis, among others. Dr. Kieffer is a very caring doctor who really listens to your symptoms. She goes the extra mile to try to pinpoint the cause of your pain in order to prescribe a treatment plan.
