Dr. Nick Van Roekel, M.D., is originally from Sioux Center, Iowa. He attended Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, where he graduated summa cum laude. Following his undergraduate career, he attended the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha where he was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and graduated with high distinction. Dr. Van Roekel went on to complete his orthopaedic residency at the University of New York at Buffalo. Following residency, he completed a fellowship with specialized training in adult reconstruction and trauma surgery at the University of Minnesota in St. Paul.

Dr. Van Roekel strongly believes in providing compassionate, patient-centered care, helping coordinate non-operative and operative treatment plans with his patients in a team-based approach. In his free time, Dr. Van Roekel enjoys spending time with his wife and their four children, golfing, road biking, and traveling. He is a avid fan of Iowa State Cyclones and Buffalo Bills.
