After a fairly long wait in his examination room, he told me I had a possible tear in my rotator cuff and/or arthritis in my shoulder. He was very pleasant; had a possible trainee with him who was not introduced, and a very nice nurse/ assistant (?) taking notes. It was a very short consultation; and then I received a cortisone shot in my shoulder ( very painful for a few moments) and then was done.

Dr Liu was extremely rude and arrogant. He acted like he was too important to give me his time. He rushed me through the 5 minutes he gave, and me cut me down on all my responses to his questions. I don't subscribe to medical insurance so I paid $300 out of pocket for the aggravation. I was so livid after my appointment with him, and I called to place a formal complaint. I was told someone would call me back, but no one ever did. I am recovering quickly from my injury that brought me to him in the first place, thanks to the acupuncturist I'm seeing who is also kind and courteous.

Dr. Liu is one of the best doctors I've seen. He did my hip replacement in 2018 and it's been fantastic. Saw him for my shoulder and very happy with his care.

Great doctor. Superlative surgical skills. I went to Dr Liu for an uncommon (<1%) and severe knee joint break with a crushed/depressed tibial plateau. Dr. Liu was able to avoid traditional open reduction (giant incision) and perform the complex and delicate repair work entirely arthroscopically thus minimizing pain and recovery time, chance of complications (too many benefits to list) and outcome. Today I am pain free and getting back to my usual activities of running, cycling and swimming. Thanks Dr. Liu and the AOSM team!

Knowledgeable, curtious and a little too fast, probably having fallen behind in the schedule. With the problems I have would need sometime for thorough consideration. The doctor has in his mind what he can do( he does it all the time) but th patient normally does not and it needs to be conveyed. As in surgery it needs to be shown, as in a diagram or even a video so ‘I’ would know exactly what would be done.

Dr. Liu is a consummate professional. He explained every step of my hip replacement surgery and did numerous follow ups to make sure the outcome was successful. He was kind and listened to my concerns. He was always punctual with appointments and gave me great post op advice. Would recommend him 100%!

He answered all of my questions and listened to me.

Dr. Liu definitely knows the proper method of treatment. However my first experience with him and his staff was a bit intense during my initial visit. There seemed to be a lot of stress between the Doctor and staff. I was a bit uncomfortable while in the office. And feeling a lot of pain did not help matters. Dr Liu and staff were short and it seemed he was in a hurry to get my procedure done. Not much bedside manner. However my additional office meeting swent more smoothly. It would be helpful in the future to know all the complications that can occur be explained more thoroughly so that a patient may know what to be prepared for.

My left leg and knee had a sharp pains while walking! I know I have arthritis on my left knee!!Got to see Dr.Liu September 24! I want to see what I can get to prevent reoccurrence of issues!! He said he will write me a knee Brace prescription! I went to one of Pop Prosthetics right after! I did not realize his assistant wrote knee sleeve instead ! They don’t have knee sleeve and said my insurance would not cover unless doctor can change to knee Brace! I call dr.Liu office 4 times that morning left one message with Greg and talk with the person that make appointment! She told me she will talk with the person that wrote prescription to call me and she will also call me ! No one ever called! Sep30 I went to doctor office and talk with receptionist to see if they can change prescription to Unloader Brace! The person that wrote prescription already left! She wrote on computer and assure me she will call today! So far no one call! I called today and no response either! Very bad!!

Dr. Liu very quickly diagnosed my medical issues , explained what needed to be done, and then treated me. I wish all of my doctors were as professional as him.

Nice enough but my Primary Care Physician sent me to the wrong Doc. Not Dr Liu's fault. He was right up front about saying there was nothing he could do for me and I should see someone else. Big waste of my time and money.

recommended sigvaris compression sock sheet had "thigh" checked instead of "calf". certified dealers would not change to calf, I called the assistant for Dr Liu and left a message to call me back for clarification, so far NO return call by 7:30 pm

This doctor thinks he knows everything he doesn’t know how to listen to a patient. His arrogant and he doesn’t know how to talk to his patient.

Dr. Liu has always been thorough & not one to jump into surgery without a real reason.

Dr. Liu's surgery of my broken elbow is unbelievable. I have NO pain and the scar is almost invisible. If you ever need the BEST Ortheopic Surgeon, give him a call.
