Dr. Capito and his wife were raised in Augusta, and he feels fortunate to give back to this incredible city and surrounding areas.

Dr. capito was my first visit for shoulder issues. I am 77years and heard good of Dr. capita. His staff are super nice. DR. Capito was nice to talk to my son who is cardiologist in California. Due to osteoporosis and lots of arthritis he ruled out surgery. He gave steroid shot for temporary relief. However; since I can't have surgery he did not show any plan for good recovery. My son insisted that he should at least have MRI to know the extent of damage so we can pursue more advanced treatment like stem cell injections or many other non traditional options available. My son did all the research and insisted as patient has right to know the truth. But, DR. capito refused since he was not going to do surgery. It appears that he was only interested in surgery. My husband shoulder issues about 10 years ago his surgeon told that almost 70 % seniors of age 70 plus had tear in super stantis or other part but you did not feel and can't see in X-rays. So, I want him to call me for MRI.
He didn’t introduce himself…. never showed me my X-rays …. Just gave me a shot and said I needed PT

Awesome to have my surgery Dover with. Staff prepped me with pertinent info on hygiene and meds. Got in. Got out of surgery. Had clear instructions on self care. I’m following all instructions. Dr. Capito is the best as is the staff. I have many friends that are his former patients that affirm that as dact. Thanks.
