My husband came in hurting for an appointment set up by workman’s compensation. My husband had no vital signs taking etc. He mentioned he had pain radiating up to his neck to the nurse before even looking at MRI and she stated it was bc a 2012 neck fusion that had never hurt since the operation. Dr. Capito had a bad attitude, was rude, and very disrespectful. When we asked questions we were treated like we were treated very unprofessionally, cut short and rushed. He acted like he did not care that my husband was trying to get much needed medical attention and answers from a specialist. He never let us see MRI images or explained my husband injury or showed us anything. I have never ever been treated so badly and disrespected by a doctor because we questioned what was going on with my husband injury. We will not be going back to him if at all possible and I pray he treats his other patients better and remembers that as a doctor you are there to help people that a in pain and hurting. 😔

He specializes in the newest advances in arthroscopic surgery for tendon repair and instability, fracture management, nerve decompression, and total joint replacement of shoulder and elbow. Dr. Capito and his wife were raised in Augusta, and he feels fortunate to give back to this incredible city and surrounding areas.
