Dr Langan was very helpful in analyzing a scan that was the basis for a potential surgerical procedure. He even spoke of a second area that had been examined that was deemed normal, which was reassuring news. He thoughtfully answered my questions.

I recently found out that I have a small, early-stage umbilical hernia, and naturally, I was quite anxious—especially after coming across many videos and social media posts warning about mesh implants, complications, and lawsuits. Since this was my first experience with any kind of surgery, the idea of having foreign material placed in my body made me very uncomfortable. However, my consultation with Nicholas Langan completely changed my perspective. He took the time to patiently explain my condition and reassured me that, given the small size of my hernia, I do not require a complex procedure or mesh repair. Instead, a simple suture repair would be sufficient. I truly appreciated his clear communication, honesty, and focus on what is best for the patient rather than recommending unnecessary procedures. Knowing that the surgery is straightforward, involves no external materials, and has only about a 5% chance of recurrence gave me a lot of confidence and peace of mind.
The office staff was exceptional and Dr. Langan was great at explaining my options for care.
