Dr. Gove specializes in the hand, wrist, and elbow, it is his mission to provide the highest possible level of care to this area. He enjoys caring for common disorders of the upper extremity such as fractures, tendon injuries, and carpal tunnel. He has an interest in complex hand, wrist, and elbow trauma and other arthritis-related disorders of the upper extremity.
Dr. Gove’s elective practice involves the hand, wrist, and elbow. He cares for common disorders such as carpal tunnel, trigger digits, and arthritis in the hand, wrist, and elbow. He enjoys complex trauma including fractures and tendon injuries of the hand, wrist, forearm, and elbow. Dr. Gove has a large Dupuytren’s disease practice and offers both injections and surgery when indicated. In addition to his subspecialty, he participates in General Orthopaedic call and repairs lower extremity fractures, such as hip and ankle.
In addition to Dr. Gove’s extensive medical commitments, he enjoys playing the guitar and drums, martial arts, and spending with his wife and children.

Dr Gove shut down with me and thoroughly explained what was happening and what was causing my issue. He was truly a breath of fresh air because unlike most surgeons he did not try to push surgery on me. He told me all the other options I had and with much confidence he took care of my problem without any Surgical procedures and I am so grateful to him and I’m doing much better after just one visit and I’m hoping that I won’t have to see him again for a while and I mean that in a good way but when I do see him again, I know that he will only give me options that are appropriate unnecessary, therefore I would like to thank him and his staff thank you🤩

Kind, focused, knowledgeable about my specific hand condition. Gave me a prognosis and a plan for how I can long-term use my hand and what treatment modalities can be used to to help me stay pain-free. Excellent doctor!!!
Knows what I need and what I want.
Very Professional. Explained what I could do to relieve my hand pain. The steps to figure out what a Dip Fusion would be like with a temporary splint to enact a stiff finger. What surgery would involve & the recovery.
I had no reservation to return to Dr. Gove after 12 years away. He’s professional & personable.

Explanation was very clear!! Office very organized!! Waited maybe 5 minutes after check in!! But ask that they not use the PORTAL, as we find it difficult to use! But had a portal message before I got home from the appointment 👎👎
