What an outstanding Dr.
My husband fell on ice skiing and shattered his femur and broke his previously replaced hip. The ER Dr. did the best he could but the inserted joint was loose and his leg was 3/4 shorter than his other leg. My husband was in constant pain with every step and miserable.
By word of mouth, we found Dr. Dirig, who was highly recommended by former patients as well as two well respected Orthopedic Dr.s.
Dr. Dirig did a masterful job on the hip revision surgery. My husband is pain free and Dr Dirig was able to make both legs the same length.

Very through, answered all my questions
Was relieved I didn’t need surgery now & can strengthen gluts & calves Consider gel injections in 3 months. X-rays more detailed than ones 1918

“When I was 15, my single mother had to have her knee replacement redone and I was allowed to get my drivers license early so I could drive her to her doctor appointments. It was at that time that I knew medicine, and in particular Orthopedics, was my calling. I wanted to understand why her first knee replacement failed and what could be done to prevent it. I’ve always had a passion for building and tinkering with things and using my hands, so throughout my medical training, Orthopedics was a natural fit. For me, there’s nothing more satisfying than seeing a patient who could barely move due to hip or knee pain, walking the morning after surgery! Like most of my patients, I enjoy staying active and being outdoors. Cycling, hiking, skiing, triathlons, and traveling keep me plenty busy outside of medicine!”
