Dr. Nicholas Dirig is board-certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery and fellowship-trained in Adult Reconstruction. For Dr. Dirig, there’s nothing more satisfying than seeing a patient who could barely move due to hip or knee pain, walking the morning after surgery.

Dr Dirig is by far the easiest doctor that I've communicated. He listens and does seem genuinely attentive to your needs.

I felt very comfortable with Dr. Dirig. He had an easy-going personality and explained every aspect of what I could expect from the surgical procedure's, also, to include, my release from the hospital and the importance of Physical Therapy. He made sure any question's I had were answered. I left my appointment feeling well informed. Thank you, Dr. Dirig!

My visit was excellent. He had done my hip replacements and they came out well. He explained the possible ways I injured my hip now and it made sense to me. He is very personable and communicative…
“When I was 15, my single mother had to have her knee replacement redone and I was allowed to get my drivers license early so I could drive her to her doctor appointments. It was at that time that I knew medicine, and in particular Orthopedics, was my calling. I wanted to understand why her first knee replacement failed and what could be done to prevent it. I’ve always had a passion for building and tinkering with things and using my hands, so throughout my medical training, Orthopedics was a natural fit. For me, there’s nothing more satisfying than seeing a patient who could barely move due to hip or knee pain, walking the morning after surgery! Like most of my patients, I enjoy staying active and being outdoors. Cycling, hiking, skiing, triathlons, and traveling keep me plenty busy outside of medicine!”
