“When I was 15, my single mother had to have her knee replacement redone and I was allowed to get my drivers license early so I could drive her to her doctor appointments. It was at that time that I knew medicine, and in particular Orthopedics, was my calling. I wanted to understand why her first knee replacement failed and what could be done to prevent it. I’ve always had a passion for building and tinkering with things and using my hands, so throughout my medical training, Orthopedics was a natural fit. For me, there’s nothing more satisfying than seeing a patient who could barely move due to hip or knee pain, walking the morning after surgery! Like most of my patients, I enjoy staying active and being outdoors. Cycling, hiking, skiing, triathlons, and traveling keep me plenty busy outside of medicine!”

Condescending,, medical gaslighting, pompous, arrogant, dismissive, narcissistic, a behavior I find to be commonplace when you are on medicaid. . 2nd surgeon in that office dissmissive to my surgical needs. I will never use Swift again nor recommend to others

In my humble opinion, he’s by far one of the best! I came to see him in 2024, barely able to walk and in extreme pain. Within a matter of weeks, I had a scheduled surgery for my left hip and was on the road to recovery. Fast forward, 5 months, I saw Dr. Dirig again for pain in my right hip. He got me scheduled for surgery on the right hip. I’m pain free for the first time in over 5 years!!
Very professional explained everything to me. Has worked with me for last 4 years to fix my knee. Recommend him if you need surgery of any kind. Thanks Dr Nick n all the staff in the office for taking care of me.
