“When I was 15, my single mother had to have her knee replacement redone and I was allowed to get my drivers license early so I could drive her to her doctor appointments. It was at that time that I knew medicine, and in particular Orthopedics, was my calling. I wanted to understand why her first knee replacement failed and what could be done to prevent it. I’ve always had a passion for building and tinkering with things and using my hands, so throughout my medical training, Orthopedics was a natural fit. For me, there’s nothing more satisfying than seeing a patient who could barely move due to hip or knee pain, walking the morning after surgery! Like most of my patients, I enjoy staying active and being outdoors. Cycling, hiking, skiing, triathlons, and traveling keep me plenty busy outside of medicine!”

Such a pleasure to have meet Nicholas Dirig . He listened to the issues I was having with my knees. Gave me options of what to do or can be done for them as far as my server arthritis in both knees. He showed me the x-ray of what was causing the pain I have been experiencing and after getting shots in both knees that stopped the pain of knives in my knees I Hghly Recommend Him !!
Very thorough and professional
He is the best so kind, caring and helps with any questions
I guess you were attending another patient, but no one said anything. I waited in the checkin room for 40 minutes until I went to complain about the long wait. I saw patients come and go. After waiting 50 minutes I was finally called. I waited another 15 minutes before you assistant came in and gave me my shot in the knee, a Two minute procedure. I hope this doesn’t happen again.
Very knowledgeable and very personable. He explained everything in detail and was very clear that we won't be jumping into surgery right away. He wanted to get the.dr notes from the previous 2 surgeries and find out why both went Sour. I have every confidence with have Dr. Direct as my doctor
Got me back on the trail thanks
Dr. Dirig takes the time to LISTEN to his patients, does not "talk down" to them, and explained everything clearly and in a concise manner. He is totally awesome and profession. Valerie
