She is dedicated to providing personalized, compassionate care to help patients achieve and maintain their best vision.
A native of Dayton, Ohio, Dr. Dao earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Cincinnati, graduating magna cum laude, and went on to receive her Doctor of Medicine, cum laude, from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. She then completed her ophthalmology residency at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, where she gained extensive experience in the medical and surgical management of eye diseases.
Dr. Dao is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Connecticut Society of Eye Physicians, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the International Society of Refractive Surgery.
Outside of her medical practice, Dr. Dao enjoys playing tennis, cooking, traveling, and gardening. She loves spending time with her husband, Chris, and their miniature dachshund, Teddy. A proud Ohioan, Dr. Dao is an avid Ohio State football fan and can often be found cheering on the Buckeyes each fall.
Dr. Dao is Extremely competent, efficient, comprehensive, professional and personable during each of my visits. I felt listened to and made comfortable prior to my surgery. A good experience all around.
She was wonderful and kind, she took the time to look thoroughly at my eye and now my eye is feeling much better.
