Dr. Dao has extensive experience in the practice of general ophthalmology with a special interest in glaucoma management, dry eye treatment, and cataract surgery. She has years of experience with laser cataract surgery and specialized intraocular lens implants. She is dedicated to providing personalized, compassionate care to help patients achieve and maintain their best vision.
A native of Dayton, Ohio, Dr. Dao earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Cincinnati, graduating magna cum laude, and went on to receive her Doctor of Medicine, cum laude, from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. She then completed her ophthalmology residency at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, where she gained extensive experience in the medical and surgical management of eye diseases.
Dr. Dao is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Connecticut Society of Eye Physicians, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the International Society of Refractive Surgery.
Outside of her medical practice, Dr. Dao enjoys playing tennis, cooking, traveling, and gardening. She loves spending time with her husband, Chris, and their miniature dachshund, Teddy. A proud Ohioan, Dr. Dao is an avid Ohio State football fan and can often be found cheering on the Buckeyes each fall.
