I felt that he cared about my pain and he would do his best to help me. Dr. Sam did not promise to take al my pain away, but give me improvement. He suggested I go to the place on Mat Avenue, because it is closer to my home.

Since that time, he completed a residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) at Galveston, followed by a specialized fellowship in interventional pain management at UTMB Galveston. Dr. Sam finds the entire spectrum of interventional pain management fascinating, with a keen interest in various areas including Spinal cord and peripheral nerve stimulation, Intrathecal pump therapy, Vertebral augmentation for acute fractures, Interspinous implants for symptomatic lumbar stenosis and cancer-related pain.
Out of medicine, Dr. Sam is a devoted husband and father to his wife and 2 kids. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling and experiencing different cultures.
