Afterward, he joined the faculty at the University of Chicago as Clinical Associate and was an attending urologist at Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago.
In 2006 he was recruited to move his urologic trauma and reconstructive practice to the Loyola University Health System, where he currently serves as Clinical Associate Professor. He is the founder of the Chicago Center for Urologic Reconstruction and Trauma. In late 2006 he joined the practice of Urology Specialists of Lake County/UroPartners, and in 2015 he moved his entire reconstruction practice to UroPartners.
Dr. Alsikafi is board certified in adult and pediatric urology by the American Board of Urology and is an active member of the American Urological Association. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is a member of many honorary and academic medical societies. He served as president and secretary of Trauma and Urologic Reconstruction Network of Surgeons (TURNS), a multi-institutional network of fellowship-trained reconstructive urologists throughout the United States who coordinate studies for urologic reconstruction (www.turnsresearch.org). He was also elected to the Board of the Chicago Urologic Society.
In addition, Dr. Alsikafi has a very busy general urologic practice. In addition to taking care of patients with kidney stones, enlarged prostate, and urologic cancers, he was one of the first physicians in Northern Lake County to perform robotic partial nephrectomy, robotic sacrocolpopexy, Interstim sacral neuromodulator, and the Urolift device.
Dr. Alsikafi is also frequently asked to contribute as an Expert Witness, and an IME examiner, as well as assist in other legal matters.
Dr. Alsikafi presently resides in Lake County with his wife and five children.

I have very bad pain while urinating, burning 🥵 sensation. Also I have to pee every 30-45 min. Cannot sleep at night. Worst possible nightmare after his kidney stone and green light prostrate surgery. It is more than 7 weeks now. I am wondering if he is even a Doctor. Terrible terrible nightmare
