Dr. Kumar is a great doctor, and I appreciate the time he took to explain what he believes is causing my knee pain. I felt that he was knowledgeable and genuinely trying to help me understand my condition. However, I became uncomfortable when I asked about getting another MRI so that I could obtain a second opinion and have peace of mind regarding my knee. I felt as though Dr. Kumar became frustrated with my request, which made me feel uncomfortable about advocating for myself as a patient. After that conversation, I also felt that the staff seemed to be aware of our discussion. Their interactions with me appeared noticeably impatient and short, which made me feel as though I was being treated differently because I asked questions about my care. I understand that another MRI may not be medically necessary in the doctor’s opinion, and I respect his professional judgment. However, as a patient, I believe I should be able to ask questions, seek a second opinion, and request additional
