OPA came highly recommended. Two years ago my right hip was replaced and has been giving my problems. I told Dr. Gupta I did not like the doctor who did the surgery. Dr. Gupta said while I do have arthritis in my left hip, the problem is really bursitis. I hope he is correct as PT is preferable to surgery, but the previous ortho in 2021 said I would need to have it replaced in a few years. I left confused rather than having my problem clarified. After Dr. Gupta left I asked what we could do to stop my right foot from angling out 15-20 degrees. It causes stress and pain in my ankle, Achilles, and calf. Dr. Gupta would not come back to see me, but sent word back that I should call the surgeon who did the surgery. The doctor I told him I do not trust. I don’t know what I did to get that kiss off, but clearly Dr. Gupta is not interested in my case.

He has advanced training in primary and revision joint replacement and fracture care. He has a particular interest in minimally invasive techniques, robotic surgery, and outpatient joint replacement.
He is committed to working with each patient to develop an individualized plan of care, including non-operative and surgical treatment. He is passionate about helping patients return to an active lifestyle.
Dr. Gupta is originally from the East Coast and is excited to be here in Seattle. In his free time, he enjoys attending live music and sporting events, hiking, cooking, and tennis.
