Dr. Nayo Williams, M.D., is coming to us from El Paso, Texas where she has worked for the past 3 years. Dr. Williams earned her undergraduate degree in biology from Bucknell University in Pennsylvania and completed both her medical degree and OB/GYN Residency at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center in New Jersey. She furthered her training at the University of Connecticut where she completed a fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine while simultaneously obtaining her Masters of Science degree in clinical and translational research.
Dr. Williams is passionate about quality improvement and mentoring others. Throughout her career she has earned several leadership awards and roles including maternal medical director and chief of OB/Gyn at Del Sol Medical Center. She has served as a reviewer of medical journals and presented clinical research findings at numerous medical conferences on topics such as racial disparity in maternal outcomes.
Dr. Williams’s areas of interest are medical complications, prenatal diagnosis, and leadership.
Dr. Williams will be primarily working in the West Valley for VPS.
Dr. Williams is what I call an amazing Doctor she listens and provides feedback… I never feel rushed when I’m with her and always feels heard. She makes sure you’re able to understand what’s being told, I never feels overwhelmed or lost after seeing her. Dr. Williams is by far one of the best doctors I have come across in Arizona.
Dr. Williams is amazing. She makes you feel so comfortable, explains everything in so much detail, and really makes sure you understand everything about your care. My husband and I both feel very safe in her care.
Dr. Williams is the most kind, patient, helpful doctor I have ever had. Her aura is contagious and she has made my experience being a high risk pregnancy patient so much easier. I feel at peace, I feel taken care of.

Definitely don’t recommend.i felt uncomfortable.when i went in it was not a 1 on 1 appointment.she was training 2 other women & they didn’t give me an option to have them in the room or not.she was very dismissive and disrespectful.when she asks questions and you are in the middle of answering them,after she hears what she wants she will talk over you.i also just feel like she was judging me by the way i looked as soon as i walked in and didn’t get the same level of respect another person would’ve gotten.
Explained everything so clear, I understood all the information and now feel some relief!
