Dr. Nayo Williams, M.D., is coming to us from El Paso, Texas where she has worked for the past 3 years. Dr. Williams earned her undergraduate degree in biology from Bucknell University in Pennsylvania and completed both her medical degree and OB/GYN Residency at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center in New Jersey. She furthered her training at the University of Connecticut where she completed a fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine while simultaneously obtaining her Masters of Science degree in clinical and translational research.
Dr. Williams is passionate about quality improvement and mentoring others. Throughout her career she has earned several leadership awards and roles including maternal medical director and chief of OB/Gyn at Del Sol Medical Center. She has served as a reviewer of medical journals and presented clinical research findings at numerous medical conferences on topics such as racial disparity in maternal outcomes.
