Nawal Habib, MD

Dr. Nawal Habib, M.D., joined Durham Nephrology Associates in 2025. She was a gold medalist at King Edward Medical University in her hometown, Lahore, Pakistan. She then pursued an Internal Medical Residency at Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia and later completed her Nephrology Fellowship at the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Habib is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology and has privileges at Duke Regional Hospital and Granville Hospital. Dr. Habib will also be accepting patients in the Durham and Oxford offices.

Her clinical interests include all aspects of chronic kidney disease, hypertension, and acute kidney injury.
