He performs a broad spectrum of general orthopedic procedures, including fracture fixation of the upper and lower extremity and Arthroscopy of the knee, ankle and shoulder. He also performs ligament and tendon repairs of the upper and lower extremities as well as joint replacement, most notably custom total knee replacement with 3D printing technology. In addition, Dr. Melton completed a Foot and Ankle fellowship at the University of Cincinnati and perform a variety of lower extremity reconstructive procedures. Academically, he is the chair of the AOBOS test writing committee for board certification, writing and developing content that comprises the test that other orthopedic surgeons must pass to become board certified.

This was a follow up visit for me so I saw the resident. He was wonderful and explained i was doing very well. I asked about plantar fasciitis and was given answers to help.
Dr Melton and the tech in the room during procedure have always been so kind and friendly .

I didn't even get to meet him and he is doing my surgery in three days .. I met his PA she was very nice very knowledgeable but never met the guy that's gonna do surgery
Dr Melton is very thorough. He doesn’t rush you. He listens and cares about how you feel. He calls you by your name and makes you feel comfortable talking to him.
Dr. Melton was great! He explained things very well and was very accommodating to my soccer schedule!
