Dr. Nathan B. Haile is a joint replacement specialist, who joined Texas Orthopedic Specialists in 2019. A Texas native, Dr. Haile attended Texas A&M University, where he was a football letterman and a member of the storied 12th Man Kick-off Team. He earned Academic All-Big XII honors and graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors. Following his undergraduate studies, he spent 2 years as a coach and high school teacher. He attended medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center-School of Medicine in San Antonio and graduated as a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha honor society.
Following medical school, he completed his residency training in orthopedic surgery at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Temple, Texas. During his residency, he was involved in research on hip replacement surgery and hip fracture surgery. He developed a deep interest in joint replacement and went on to obtain additional training through his fellowship in joint replacement surgery at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.
Dr. Haile is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons. Dr. Haile subspecializes in revision joint replacement as well as primary joint replacement, including direct anterior hip replacement, robotic-assisted total knee replacement, and robotic-assisted partial knee replacement.

Very thorough! He explained exactly what the issue was that was causing the pain, went through the procedure needed and possible outcomes to include any issues that may arise.
Literally the best medical experience that I’ve ever had! Doc is straight up a great guy, doesn’t beat around the bush, exhibits great confidence in his skills and ability, and he’s a Christian! Prayed with me and the family prior to performing my surgery. This totally made my day and eased any concerns that my family and I may have had. The hip surgery went extremely well and I walked out of the hospital that evening. I can’t say enough good about this medical experience. The best ever from the hospital staff, nurses, anesthesiologist and of course doctor Haile.
