Dr. Nathan B. Haile is a joint replacement specialist, who joined Texas Orthopedic Specialists in 2019. A Texas native, Dr. Haile attended Texas A&M University, where he was a football letterman and a member of the storied 12th Man Kick-off Team. He earned Academic All-Big XII honors and graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors. Following his undergraduate studies, he spent 2 years as a coach and high school teacher. He attended medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center-School of Medicine in San Antonio and graduated as a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha honor society.
Following medical school, he completed his residency training in orthopedic surgery at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Temple, Texas. During his residency, he was involved in research on hip replacement surgery and hip fracture surgery. He developed a deep interest in joint replacement and went on to obtain additional training through his fellowship in joint replacement surgery at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.
Dr. Haile is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons. Dr. Haile subspecializes in revision joint replacement as well as primary joint replacement, including direct anterior hip replacement, robotic-assisted total knee replacement, and robotic-assisted partial knee replacement.

I saw the PA today. I was very happy. I have seen Dr. Haile in the past. My only complaint is, they don’t have enough handicap parking in front of the facility and most of us are all hurting when we walk in. It would be nice not to have to walk so far. The CARE I received was good .. the suggestions they made for me to consider for improving my quality of life were good.
Excellent service . I felt very confident in making my decision to have surgery.

Dr. Haile takes the time to explain everything, and he is an excellent surgeon. I trust him completely.
Dr Haile has amazing bed side manners and empathy for his parents. He spends as much time as needed to fully educate and inform his patients. Recommend 10 out of 10!
