Dr Nathan Funk has been my cardiologist for a number of years. I find him very professional and competent.. He is wonderful about answering any questions that I may have and truly listens. The support staff in the front office and back office have also been very pleasant and helpful

Wow, no one ever asked before. I'm impressed.
I really liked Dr. Funk. He is everything a doctor should be; knowledgeable, compassionate, let me make decisions, and especially friendly. However, he took me, cold turkey, off Fleckainide which by Wednesday morning my pulse went up to over 100. Thursday morning it was still 113. Blood pressure is fine. I called and left a message with the nurse but have not heard back yet. An hour ago I took one Fleckainide, 100mg, and now my pulse is now 73. So, I am a bit confused/ disappointed. I hope he will call me soon.

Dr. Funk always greets you with a smile as he enters the exam room. If you have concerns and worries he helps you to understand what is going on in your situation. It's great to leave your appointment feeling better than when you arrived.

Great experience with Dr and staff.
Worked my husband in after being held up in traffic on 199 coming from the coast, making us late for appt. We called ahead and they where very understanding. Visit with Dr Funk was very thorough and answered all our questions. We where really impressed!

Dr. Nathan Funk, M.D. was born in a small rural town in northwest Iowa. After graduation Nathan headed to Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland for his internal medicine training. Prior to going back to Iowa to complete cardiology training, Nathan spent a year in Alaska working for the Alaska Native Medical Center as an internist. During cardiology fellowship training, he has taken a special interest in cardiac imaging and valvular heart disease. Nathan and his wife are happy to be in Southern Oregon raising their growing family with a deep appreciation for the outdoors. They enjoy hiking, camping, and trail running.
