Dr. Nathan Anderson, M.D. is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. Dr. Anderson was born and raised in Salt Lake county. He attended Brigham Young University, graduating with Magna Cum Laude honors with a bachelors of science in neuroscience and obtaining a minor in business management. He attended medical school at Texas Tech University Health Science Center where he was honored with membership to both the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society as well as the Gold Humanism Honor Society.

He completed his ophthalmology residency at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina where he was elected by the faculty and residents to serve as the Chief Resident his final year. He also received the Wake Forest Outstanding Consultant Award while working there. He elected to continue his training at Wake Forest with a one-year oculoplastics fellowship under the direction of Dr. Charles Rice, MD, expanding his surgical skill set to include procedures of the eyelid and nasolacrimal duct system.
Dr. Anderson is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He and his wife, Allie, are the proud parents of four children. Dr. Anderson enjoys spending time with his family, outdoor activities, playing sports and watching BYU football. He enjoys humanitarian work, including trips to the Hospital Fraternidad in Honduras where he has performed both cataract surgery and oculoplastics procedures.
