my first appointment with Dr.Gaines last week, and I can honestly say it was one of the best medical visits I’ve had in a long time. She took her time listening to everything I had been experiencing and explained in detail what was going on. As a former nurse, I can’t express how much I appreciate a provider who educates their patients and makes sure they truly understand their own care.
She was incredibly down-to-earth, compassionate, and easy to talk to. Even in our short time together, she made me feel heard, supported, and genuinely cared for. On my way out, she recommended a book that I immediately downloaded on Audible—and it has been exactly what I needed in this season of my life.
If you’re looking for a urologist who is knowledgeable, thorough, and truly kind, I can’t recommend Dr. Gaines enough. She is a rare gem in healthcare.

It is very easy to to talk with Dr. Gaines. She listens and discusses the topic with you so that it is easily understood. She answers all questions and didn't pressure me for surgery or unnecessary medications. She was very relaxed and did not rush me. I love her. Everyone else in the office was also kind, helpful, and professional.
