I didn’t appreciate his demeanor. He was not overly friendly and was impatient when I didn’t have the answers quickly to his questions. I was taken aback bu this as I haven’t experienced a medical person like this.
I almost said something to him or walked out. He also suprised me with the rectal exam. I thought he was going to check the back of my testicles. He made sone remark like, “well what did you think I was going to do” I don’t appreciate that and I didn’t think another person would either.
I thought, maybe tell someone what you’re doing. I’m not a Dr and this is my first time dealing with something like this.
The nurse was the same way. Strictly business. No personality and at one point she just walked out so the room right after the ultrasound.
I don’t plan on seeing him again after my follow up. I suggest he reminds himself that he’s dealing with real people with feelings. Dr visits are uncomfortable enough as it is. He certainly didn’t make me feel good about it.
