Waited over one hour past appt time. It had been my understanding that an echo (one year follow up) would be done. Instead did an ECG which showed a possible RT ventricular delay- which was my reason for seeing cardiologist in the first place a year ago. Doctor came into room asked how I was. Never mentioned ECG. I mentioned swings in blood pressure that he ordered and was monitoring on a daily basis. Remote monitoring site has called me on several occasions regarding out of range readings. He asked if taking it at same time of day. That was it. Literally “saw” me for approx 4.5 minutes and that’s being generous. Nice guy, but given my family history of stroke, heart attack, cardiomyopathy and CHF- suffice it to say- I was less than satisfied. Clearly it was my responsibility to share my concerns and asked about ECG but I’m old school. Figure if it’s an issue he will mention it. When he indicated appt was over I asked “is that it” and he said “do you want me to give you a shot”.
