Nancy Burt, M.D.

Dr. Burt continues to show little regard for basic patient interaction (understanding concerns and communicating plans of action). Manners aside, this is a basic foundational expectation the board has of doctors as part of patient treatment. Office will not return requests. Insurance company has been contacted regarding Burt’s lack of time spent, but billed for.

Definitely don’t want to see her again. I even brought my husband this time to show him what I was talking about and he even said when we left do not come back in 3 months see someone else.

Excellent visit

First visit and I really liked her. Calmed my fears and explained everything.

Knowledgeable and clear, went over test results. Not particularly friendly or approachable. But she did the job and my test results didn’t need any explanations. Obviously knows her stuff.

She was.a very good listener and giving feedback back to help me understanding what to expect.

Nancy Burt is very compassionate, understanding and always Answers questions. She is professional and always tries to come up with the best resolution for my migraines.

My only desire is that she would not change locations.

She gave the impression that I was a bother to her and didn’t really seem too concerned about checking on my neuropathy.

Dr. Burt is amazing. She actively listened to me, restated my concerns, developed a plan for tests, then took the time to explain it in a way I could understand!

Don’t have any one to discuss my concerns with me. I don’t know how to get my results.

She is on top of her game.

Dr Burt and her staff were professional and paid attention that I’m deaf. I recommend Dr Burt to Jan Bond. From what I hear, Jan is pleased with Dr Burt.

The Dr. Was very thorough during the exam as well explaining the procedure to me to let me know what to expect.

She is not a bad doctor, but I would say, she is average. The way she treated me was very cold and some way rude when I asked some questions. I do ask a lot because, when needed, I read a lot before going to my appointments. She wasn't able to relate my symptoms ( and, scientifically I know they do) to any part of my brain, when I explained my issues to her. I think she lacks empathy and needs to be more professional. When making the appointment I only gave one symptom, and she told me that that was the only one she was going to diagnose or treat, when I told her about other issues that other doctors think are related. At the end, she didn't give me a real diagnose or treatment.

Eyes so red when she came in the room. Hoped it was allergy related. 🤧. Her initial attitude was poor. I get a lot of VA referrals and her place of work is called Hearing Institute of tx. She was frustrated that I thought I was there for hearing. She is the dr and has my paper work in Her hands. After she read my papers her attitude changed. But I will not go back
