Nameer R. Haider MD, FAAPM&R, DABPM

Dr. Nameer Haider, M.,D. has been practicing Interventional Pain Management for over 15 years. Dr. Haider is a Diplomate of the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation with a subspecialty Board Certification in Pain Medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He also is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pain Medicine. Dr. Haider graduated with Honors from King Edward Medical University, and then completed a rotating Surgical Internship at the East Carolina University School of Medicine in Greenville, North Carolina. He completed a Residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the Northshore University/Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New York. He also served as Chief Resident at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine LIJ Campus. Dr. Haider then completed a Fellowship in Interventional Pain Management at the Spinal & Skeletal Pain Institute in New York.

He has been affiliated with several prestigious hospitals across the United States. He has serves as the Chairman of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Faxton-St. Lukes Healthcare in New York, and is the past president of the New York State Society of Interventional Pain Physicians. He is also the Fellowship Training Director for Interventional Pain Management at the Minimally Invasive Pain Institute.

Dr. Haider is a member of The North American Spine Society, American Academy of Pain Medicine, American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, World Institute of Pain, International Spinal Intervention Society, American Medical Association, American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, North American and International Neuromodulation Associations, and the American Association of Neurologic Surgeons.

Dr. Haider is actively involved with organizing and presenting academic seminars on behalf of the Minimally Invasive Pain Institute. He travels extensively throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia providing patient and physician education. Dr. Haider has regularly presents his cutting edge research at many international conferences and his abstracts have appeared in leading publications. Dr. Haider is licensed to practice medicine and surgery in 5 states, and also holds clinical/surgical privileges at seven hospitals, including Georgetown University Medical Center, George Washington University Medical Center, and Virginia Hospital Center,

Dr. Haider is Founder of Minimally Invasive Pain Institute, with offices throughout New York, Northern Virginia and Washington DC. Dr. Haider uses cutting edge technology in the treatment of Pain. His area of expertise include minimally invasive therapies for the treatment of Pain including Foraminotomy, Percutaneous and Endoscopic Discectomy, Vertebroplasty/Kyphoplasty, Radiofrequency Ablation Rhizotomy, Surgical implantation of Spinal Cord Stimulators, Peripheral Neurostimulators, Implantable Intrathecal Pumps, Laser Microdiscectomies, Spinal Decompression surgery, Spinal Fusion alternatives, and Minimally Invasive Spinal Fusion surgeries.
