Dr, Beard has treated my degenerative arthritis for a few years now. My condition stems from being athletic in my younger days. Now I’m able to walk pain free and without swelling in my feet. Dr. Beard is a true blessing!

I couldn’t say enough wonderful things about Dr. Beard. I have been in pain and seeing various doctors and specialists for 8 months. I’ve lost those 8 months of my life, along with about three thousand dollars, to doctors who don’t listen and haven’t even identified the problem. We were beating a very expensive dead horse and I had truly lost hope. Dr. Beard not only listened to my story, but he also immediately devised a plan of action, ordered a prescription, sent in a few referrals, and most importantly, gave me hope. When the X ray technician told me “Dr. Beard is the s***,” he was totally right!

I was NOT impressed. I was told I was going to have injections. The appointment was scheduled for injections. That is what the appointment was classified as. However he only did a consult. He refused to even do one injection out of the series he is wanting to do. He claimed "Mondern medicine just won't allow us to do that." So, now I have to take off work more time to go in for the injections instead of being told upfront what was going on.

I have had hip pain for 10 years. My Army days were filled with tears and pain. When I met Dr. Beard, he was immediately receptive to me. He has given me injections that have helped me have my first pain free night in 10 years. I can smile, walk and even sleep without waking up in pain. He is amazing.

Dr Beard and Dr Bell (I believe) had excellent bedside manner with my dementia diagnosed mother. I had an extremely difficult time trying to contact a person to relay a message to the appointment desk/the doctor, however. I tried 6 different times in different ways, while i was driving, having driven in from Huntsville AL to take my dementia suffering mother to this appointment. When I went to pick her up in Oakland, she was not home, despite my having communicated with her in different ways —because dementia. I needed to let someone know we were running late but on the way. It was an extremely stressful trip dealing with her, trying to drive, and waiting on hold or being transfer and getting no help. Fearing I’d be 5 minutes late and not be seen. There needs to be a better way for patients to communicate.

He also takes his time answering questions and educating you/sharing the ultrasound images with you so that you can be more informed about the issues and treatments you’re receiving. So glad he has been part of my care team!

My first visit to see Dr. Beard. He was very nice and explained things well. Got me an appointment in a week, which is good, for a procedure. I think he might have taken a little more time checking ROM and pressure areas but I guess that will come out in the procedure.

Outstanding, talented doctor with a great staff

Not real happy with Beard! He was no help whatsoever and he acted very uninterested about my issue! He really didn’t want to consult me because I had nothing spranged or broken. Said that was why CC had after hours and not for my issue! Made a few suggestions that sounded really crazy! Not professional at all! The paperwork stated why I was there so why did he go on wiith X-rays? Not but once mentioned the xrays! The nurse attending me was also very unprofessional and rude! Will never be back in Campbell’s Clinic nor anyone I know either! Will spread the news! Terrible experience!!!

Today is the first time I have seen Dr. Beard. He was so easy to talk to and explained everything he was going to do. Campbells Clinic never ceases to amaze me! As many Dr.s I have seen there I should have a wing named after me. Just when you think they can’t get any better they seem to do it!
