I got off on the wrong foot with her and consequently I think we have trouble communicating. I own some of the problem.

She is providing excellent care for my son and me.

Dr Nam was very through and helpful during our first visit this week. We have a good plan of action!

Dr. Nam read what I wrote on my paperwork and that was her diagnosis. She was reading from a script as soon as our video visit began. She barely asked questions to understand. She just talked. My family doctor had already gave me the original diagnosis and medication. I thought an allergy specialist would have a deeper knowledge of underlying causes. She didn’t seem to care. I believe she stereotyped me and provided her diagnosis accordingly. This was a waste of time. Sometimes we know what we know, but without examination and history, sometimes you don’t know what you don’t know.

Dr. Nam always explains all of her information so clearly and is patient with all questions . I appreciate how she speaks to my daughter, the patient as well so that she can understand her own medical needs.

Dr. Nam was pleasant, but she seemed rushed and hesitant to offer her professional opinion/ insight as an allergy specialist. My husband and I are pediatric healthcare providers and she spoke to us as if we had no health literacy regarding allergies. Aside from learning that our daughter has a milk allergy, the visit was a waste of time. I learned more information from my UpToDate articles than our visit.

She seemed rush during our experience and continued to cut me off and dismiss my concerns. It did not feel like she was taking my concerns seriously at all, and when I asked her if i could show her my problem areas on my legs, she was reluctant to say yes. The appointment lasted all of 10 minutes.

Dr.Nam is the best!

Excellent doctor, professional yet caring and concerned about your health. Has given me a better quality of life in what she has done to relieve my asthma problems. She changed my life for the better since coming to her. Friendly and takes time to listen.

Dr. Nam doesn’t explain or communicate well with what’s going on with you. My last visit required her looking at my problem. She just said off the top of her head what she thought it was, and prescribed a med. She lacks in communication. She basically acted like I was getting on her nerves. I didn’t remember to get my visit summary. The front desk didn’t either. I couldn’t find it in the patient portal. I called Adriet, (I think I spelled her name wrong), twice, asked her to email it to me, I never received it. I needed it to get instructions. Let me think about this. When I first came to her, I was appreciative of the tests that she ordered to see what was really my problem. After that it appeared like I was just complaining.

Did not listen to patient, period!

Dr. Nam is my favorite doctor! She has been with me every step of the way with my allergies and health. I feel like I'm seeing an old friend when I come in for my checkups. Thanks Atlanta Allergy and Asthma for 20 years of AWESOME allergy assistance!

Very personable, good listener.

I've only talked to her a couple of times the last few years, and each time she seems to be in a rush. As the meeting was about to end, she mentioned that I couldn't get my allergy shot on the same day as my meeting with her. That's the first I've heard about that. I was planning to do exactly that. I had planned my week around doing both, the same day.

Dr Nam asked me some questions, but she would cut me off in the middle of my sentence multiple times to ask me other questions. I felt annoyed and unheard in regards to my concerns. Honestly, she should just ask Yes/No type questions if she has no intention of listening to a response. I also think she could mention that there are additional costs when recommending other services. Honestly, wouldn't hurt her to do something this simple. Otherwise I suppose she was okay.

My patient commented to me as a parent that they are not a fan of Dr. Nam. They did not say specifically why though. I can only guess that they feel attacked when she has appointments with Dr. Nam.

She addressed my concerns and I was satisfied at the end of my appointment.

On knowledge and patient interaction 5*. Giving 2* because, she treats it like a sales job and always offering other services and wants you to schedule a follow up (more $$$$) when not necessary. The staff also trained to do the same so it's probably the company's mentality to make money off of the insurance snd patient as we have to cover the copay.

I love Dr. Nam she has taken good care of my daughter since we have been there. I love the service at the office to. I would like to be known so that she too knows that we like the way she takes care of us. Hunt Family

A bit rushed at last appt. Didn’t get a chance to provide additional info & ask questions and update history. Also, confusion about a refill & having to call office for answers but then that raises additional questions. Previous visits have been better.

The provider was oblivious to the time she had us waiting for our appointment. As a first time patient it was ridiculous to have waiting more than an hour to be 1. Placed in a dirty temporary room, 2. Be seen after an hour of waiting 3. Have a very brief conversation with the provider. Patients should be offered the least restrictive and best options available for service. If a blood test is the best option and provides the most comprehensive results than the scratch test is pointless and a waist of time and money. If the scratch test was negative why have we been prescribed an epi pen.

Doesn’t explain. Breeze over any patient’s concerns. Poor time management (everybody’s time is valuable not just hers!). Office staff terrible as well. Front desk never seems to know anything and always say to talk to the nurses. Nurses think of themselves as doctors or something. Very arrogant.

Dr. Nam was very great to work with. I saw her for the first time this week after seeing multiple doctors over the years. Dr. Nam took the time to listen to me, hear my story and recommend a solution for me. I feel like I can depend on Dr. Nam to communicate with me with any questions and concerns I have. I hope to finally have found someone I can stick with in the future to keep me at ease with my condition.

She asked questions but didn’t seem to have time to listen to my answered. She gives the impression that only medical doctors understand the process of scientific inquiry.

I felt rushed and like she didn’t care to hear WHY I was there. It was like a questionnaire- this or that; that or this…and then she ordered the same medication that I had explained my PCP already ordered in June( 3 full refills). I left feeling disappointed and that was my first visit. I will give the benefit of doubt because it was a man afternoon appointment, but I’m going to see her for the second time in the morning. If I don’t feel confident then I need to transfer.
