Dr. Brookman is definitely an asset to Azul Vision ~ they are lucky to have him. I wouldn’t trust my eyes to anyone else. Dr. Brookman recently operated on my eyes and I haven’t seen this great in many years. Thank you Dr. Brookman!!

Dr. Brookman... is such a personable doctor. I was telling someone that you could be Dr. Brookman's patient. You waited an hour for your appointment to see him. You're upset about the wait and as soon as Dr. Brookman walks into the room, you're no longer mad. His personality comes right through the door. He's so cheerful he greets you. He shows the concern that every patient would love their doctors to have. Let me just say I love Dr. Bookman.

A native of Southern California, Dr. Myles Brookman, M.D. attended California State University of Long Beach where he earned a baccalaureate degree in Cell and Molecular Biology. After attending a year of graduate school in a doctoral program at UC Riverside, Dr. Brookman opted to transfer to medical school as he felt more passionate about direct patient care rather than strictly research.
Dr. Brookman attended medical school at the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University, Israel, completing his fourth year elective Ophthalmology rotations in New York, Boston and Washington D.C.
Completing his internship year in general medicine and surgery at Lincoln Medical Center in the south Bronx, NY, Dr. Brookman then went on to complete Ophthalmology residency at Northwell Health in Long Island, NY, where he treated eye disease and developed his surgical skills at multiple hospitals including Long Island Jewish Hospital and Queens Hospital Center.
Wishing to return back to Southern California, Dr. Brookman joined Atlantis Eyecare where he is able to combine his passions of cutting-edge research and direct patient care, providing the newest treatment plans and best possible care for his patients.
Known for his enthusiastic outlook on life and his friendly demeanor, Dr. Brookman practices Comprehensive Ophthalmology and has a special interest in Cataracts and Minimally Invasive Glaucoma surgery.
In his spare time, Dr. Brookman enjoys outdoor activities including rock climbing, swimming and bicycling. He also enjoys playing guitar.
