I was alarmed by his lack of “bedside manner”….in addition, I don’t know, one day post-op, if I am progressing as expected, or if I should worry. Nothing about my exam was explained. I will worry MORE as a result.

Dr Glusman did there are examination and explained everything to me that was going on with my eyes. He also gave me some advice about going to an ear doctor because I am so dizzy and nauseous. I would recommend him highly.

Dr. Murray Glusman is an optometrist with more than 45 years of experience. Dr. Glusman offers comprehensive eye care including diabetic eye exams and specializes in the co-management and treatment of cataract surgery patients, dry eye, glaucoma, and macular degeneration as well as the fitting of customized contact lenses.
Dr. Glusman earned bachelor’s degrees in Biology, Chemistry, and Physiological Optics from the University of Alabama, then went on to earn his Doctor of Optometry from the same institution. Dr. Glusman is a sought-after lecturer on a diverse range of eye health topics and has served as a clinical investigator for a number of research projects funded by eye care and pharmaceutical companies including Alcon and the Squibb Institute for Medical Research.
Dr. Glusman has been married to the same wonderful woman for 48 years, and they share two children and one grandchild. Outside of work, he enjoys listening to and playing music, landscaping, and is an ardent Bama fan.
