He was so pleasant and put me at ease with my procedure. I hurt a little bit but it wasn't as bad as I expected it to be. I feel comfortable with doing the same procedure again if needed

Dr. Amjad would have received a 5 rating had more time been given to allow the medication to deaden the injection sites. The pinch I was told to expect was more like being gored by a 1000 lb bull. I realize time per patient is important but so is patient comfort during the procedure. I believe another 5 minutes to allow the medication to become more effective would have made all the difference in what I felt.

The doctor was good until I informed I already had a MRI done. I was informed he would look for it. I informed him where the MRI was done Sentara Hospital on First Colonial Road. I stated I would sign for him to get a copy of the MRI. I was informed that was not needed. The next thing I new staff came in stated they could n9t find it an a new MRI would have to br approved by my health insurance. I informed staff you really didbnot try. I then stated I will go by and pick it up. I left and the more I thought about it I made my mind up I will not be returning. If the doctor would of left me sign off to release the MRI Sentara would of sent him the MRI for his review. I am 73 years old and over the years I have released health information to other Doctor's. It had never been an issue until yesterday. I have requested my family doctor to find a doctor closer to where I live. I just wanted to let you know I will not be returning. Billy Harrell
