A native of Nebraska, Dr. Thomsen earned her bachelor of science degree from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. She earned her doctorate of optometry degree from the Pacific University College of Optometry in 2023. During her optometric education, Dr. Thomsen completed externships at Eye Care Group of Southern Oregon in Grants Pass, Oregon, Lebanon VA Medical Center in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, Pacific Cataract and Laser Institute in Tacoma, Washington and IHS Bethel in Bethel, Alaska. I really liked meeting Dr. Thomson ! She was very thorough & listened to me. My eyes were much better after I saw her !! Thank yiu !!
Did not seem competent for evaluating the problem I came in for. I should have been scheduled with an ophthalmologist not an optometrist. She also did not listen, she kept telling to come back if I had certain symptoms (pain, redness), but they were the symptoms that had brought me in initially. She also seemed to lack understanding of the condition the ophthalmologist had diagnosed me with.
She was very thorough, professional, and very sweet, she took her time, and I think the problem may be solved.
Personable and knowledgeable. She was thorough with her exam and explanations.
